Mr. Mbugua a graduate of Makerere University with a Bsc in Chemistry and Mathematics. 

He is a founder member and currently the Chief Executive Officer Abcon Group of Companies and the Chairman of East African Cables (K) Ltd., East African Cables (TZ) Ltd and Kewberg SA.  He is also a director of Proctor & Allan EA Ltd.,  Flashcom Ltd. and Zeniki Investment Ltd.
