Trans-Century Limited (“TCL”) has appointed Mr. Zephaniah Gitau Mbugua as Chairman of the Company following the passing on of Mr. James Mungai Gachui in December 2010. Mr. Mbugua was previously the Vice- Chairman of TCL and is also a founder member of the Company.

Mr. Gachui was a truly special leader and will be impossible to replace. I am certain that if we continue in Mr. Gachui good ways then we will achieve our vision of becoming not just a leading Public Company in Kenya but also the Pre-eminent Company in Africa.” said Zephaniah Gitau Mbugua.
Mr. Mbugua is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully developed businesses and partnerships across Africa for the last 30 years. He is Co-founder and CEO of Abcon Group of Companies and Chairman of East African Cables Ltd. He holds a Bsc in Chemistry and Mathematics from Makerere University. |
